Breaking Up

I dumped the drum and bugle corps yesterday. It was going to cost me an arm and a leg - $700 + travel expenses. The people in it are nice, but mostly middle aged straight people who live in the South Bay - not a great pool of potential new friends.

I also drove the nail in the coffin of dating JJ. I haven't called since he went out of town on business Wednesday. For the record, he didn't call me either. He did text me yesterday, but I ignored it. This is going to be an uncomfortable meetup in the hallway someday soon.

The last couple of months I've felt off. Breaking up with Jason, work, the flu and other things have really distracted me. I haven't felt as self assured as I normally do. I'm finally feeling like my confident self again.

On an unrelated note, I had my first sighting of a Marina Girl in the wild today.
